In today's hurry-up world of instant
gratification and the latest and greatest gadget, it is refreshing
to take a look backwards. Jubilatores
Medieval Music offers a look into a time gone by, the Middle Ages.
Perhaps you would like to purchase a CD or an instrument or perhaps
you would like to learn how older music was written.
Barry and Charissa Ebersole have put together a very fascinating,
high quality Web site. Pay them a visit!

| Fiddlechicks
is the world's first Web site dedicated to women on electric
violin. Of course, it is probably the only such Web site, but
never mind. |
This site is geared to women fiddlers but there are things
there for the casual visitor as well, including links to fiddle
music sites.
Here you will find links to Athabascan fiddlers from the
Old Crow country of the Yukon and Norwegian Hardanger fiddles,
or hardingfele. But of course you already knew that...

The teens at Teen
Mania Ministries strive for excellence in everything they do.
As they learn to walk closer with God they develop their character
and integrity; they also learn practical skills, which they can
take to college and into the business world. These teens work with
hundreds of thousands of North American teenagers every year, helping
them to find positive meaning in this often negative world.
We are the proud parents of two Teen Maniacs and we know dozens
more. This is truly a well grounded and life changing Christian
ministry.

Everyone loves Athabascan
music, right? Of course, you know that this is the native fiddle
music from the Yukon and the Northwest Territories, right? This
is Alaskan native music at its finest and it is really quite fine.
Of course, if you are steeped in classical music or punk rock this
may not be for you but then again...
You can listen to sample tracks or order
this album if you like.
Isn't networking great? We were at the Old Crow site (see the 1st
Nations page) and found a guest book to sign. One of the visitors
mentioned finding music related to the Old Crow and we checked out
that site and found this music. This site led us to IUMA, below.

There are many excellent musicians, writers,
and singers whose work will not be featured on the radio or sold
in a music store, simply because they lack the connections or the
resources necessary to put their product in the market place.
The Internet Underground
Music Archive - IUMA - features the talents these people.
At this site you can see and hear the works of a vast array of talented
people in all musical styles. At this site you will find jazz,
Gospel, hip-hop, punk, funk, and elevator junk alongside some Athabascan
fiddle music (see above).
If you are a musician, IUMA is the place to post your music where
actual musicians are watching out for you. You have your own
URL with your band name first and a custom web page where you can
post all your band info and MP3s, sell CDs, create message boards,
fan lists, and of course, get e-mail from your fans - all Free!
