1 Million AOL CDs to return to AOL.
Over the years America On Line (AOL) has mailed out enough diskettes
and CDs to satisfy the needs of every person in the world several times
over for their entire lifetime, or several lifetimes if you believe in
that sort of thing.
Our challenge is to come up with new uses for those CDs and/or diskettes.
These uses do not have to be related to computers, the Internet, or anything
usual, in fact, the more bizarre the uses the better.

our spam filter.

Be sure to include your name so we can properly place the credit / blame.
If you have a picture or graphic demonstrating your idea, please include
it. Multiple submissions are encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the
best entries.
The first place winner will receive an AOL CD, good for 1,045 hours
of use during a 45 day period.
The second place winner will receive two AOL CDs.
The third place winner will receive three AOL CDs.
We are eagerly awaiting

As the entries come pouring in from both of you we'll use a Sharpie
marker to transcribe them onto the back of an AOL CD for future
reference.
We note that the current AOL CDs being distributed give you up to 1045
hours of free use within 45 days. There are 1080 hours available during
that time period. We have not determined what is wrong with the other
35 hours that they can't simply offer unlimited service for 45 days. Perhaps
some of that time is used to dial in and connect. It is hoped that you
will be able to eat, sleep, and possibly work during the time you are
evaluating AOL.
